Family Game Event – Guest Code of Conduct

 

Welcome to our Penfield Library Foundation Family Game Event! We want everyone to have a fun, safe, and welcoming experience. By attending, all guests agree to follow these simple guidelines:

 

1. Be Respectful & Kind

Treat all event volunteers and fellow attendees with courtesy and respect.

 

Use appropriate language—swearing, yelling, or offensive remarks are not permitted.

 

2. Take Care of the Games & Space

Treat library facilities, board games, equipment, and materials with care.

 

Handle game pieces gently and make sure to clean up and return game sets when you are finished.

 

3. Keep Children Supervised

Children under age 16 must be accompanied and directly supervised by a parent or responsible adult at all times.

 

4. Share and Include

Games are for everyone! Be mindful of others waiting to play, share space generously, and welcome new players when possible.

 

5. Ensure a Safe Environment

No running, roughhousing, or unsafe behavior inside the venue.

 

Please keep food and drinks away from game components.

 

 

Library Foundation volunteers reserve the right to ask anyone not following these guidelines to leave the event.
